Anesthesiologist Needed in Coastal North Carolina Area
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks; potential ongoing need

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8s) or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10s)
Monday–Friday
No call


Practice Details

Acute care hospital
Physicians perform their own cases (no supervision)
No CRNA supervision responsibilities
Approx. 50 anesthesia locations across ORs/procedural areas
EMR: Epic


Clinical Scope

General anesthesia
Cardiac
Orthopedic
OB
Pediatrics
Full range of hospital-based surgical cases

Requirements:

Must be proficient across broad case mix
Completion of accredited anesthesia residency
Case volume/experience consistent with required specialties


Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified
Active North Carolina license (not willing to license)
DEA required


Credentialing

Approx. 120 days


Location
Near the Southeastern North Carolina coast — hospital-based anesthesia practice with weekday coverage and physicians performing all cases independently.
