North Carolina Anesthesiologist – 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Assignment Details:
Start: July 2026
Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
Shift Start: 7:00 AM
Call: Nightly call during scheduled rotation (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Practice Setting:
Community hospital environment
Collaborative care team model
Supervision of CRNAs with some independent cases
EPIC EMR

Case Mix:
Bread & butter general anesthesia
Orthopedics
Gynecology
GI procedures
No trauma or OB cases

Practice Details:
4–6 ORs daily
~4,900 cases annually
Team includes 1 MD and 4–5 CRNAs daily
Anesthesia model: ~85% supervision / 15% own cases
Responsibilities include pre-ops, PACU, blocks, and OR oversight

Requirements:
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Active North Carolina license required
Clean background required
Comfortable supervising CRNAs and managing cases independently

Credentialing:
30–60 days

Additional Highlights:
Highly desirable 14 on / 14 off schedule
Consistent case mix with no high-acuity trauma or OB
Strong, experienced CRNA team
