Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens coverage needed July 6-10
  • 4:1 supervision model (medically directed) with the ability to run own room if necessary
  • Orientation day begins at 6:00 AM; standard shift hours are 7:00 AM-3:00 PM with potential to stay later for add-on cases
  • Facility includes 19 OR suites, 5 Endoscopy Rooms, and 1 Maternity unit
  • Must be licensed in Ohio or hold an IMLC license
  • Board certification required; estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
  • ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Provide general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
  • Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
  • Handle thoracic and complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
  • Support complex orthopedic cases and complete orthopedic procedures
  • Perform post-op epidural management and post-op extremity blocks
  • Administer epidural steroid injections for both lumbar and cervical regions
  • Perform transforaminal injections at lumbar and cervical levels
  • Utilize x-ray guidance in the performance of blocks
  • Manage ventilation and evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
  • Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
  • Supervise CRNAs as part of the medically directed model
  • Pain management techniques preferred
  • Nearest airports: Columbus, Cincinnati, and Huntington

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
