Locums to Perm Position in PA

Specialty: Locums to Perm - Anesthesiology

Start Date: 1/1/2024

Contract Length: Permanent

Shift Details: 7am – 5pm

Schedule: (5) 10-hour shifts

Work Details: The provider will work 90 days as a Locums and then transition to Perm.

Support Staff: 24/7 CRNA in-house coverage, call from home

Amount of coverage needed per month: 16 shifts per month; Weekend Call 1:9; Weekday Call 1:9.

Patients per day: Average 500 cases per month

Patient population/age: 12 months to Adult

Department description: Main hospital 8 ORs, one OR in OB, 2 endoscopy suites, ASC 4 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites. High volume of Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, General Surgery, OB/Gyn. Medical direction of CRNAs. High volume regional anesthesia program.

EMR: EPIC

Technology in use: Spacelabs, Anesthesia machines Apollo and Fabius. Video laryngoscopes and bronchoscopes provu and Glidescope, Cerebral Oximetry

Hospital bed size: 131

Special procedures: Sonosite ultrasound

Skills required: Regional Anesthesia / Awake video bronchoscopy intubation

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABA or AOBA

License required: PA (open to licensing candidates)

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum.
