Anesthesiologist Needed in Western Pennsylvania Region
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks; potential ongoing need

Schedule

7 on / 7 off
Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
In‑house call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM (must remain within 30 minutes)
Weekend call: 24‑hour, at home (within 30 minutes)
Average caseload: ~2 cases/day Mon–Fri
Working own cases while on call


Practice Details

Acute care community hospital
150 beds
2 ORs
Approx. 400 cases/year
EMR: (not specified)
May supervise one CRNA on some cases
No OB


Clinical Scope

General surgery
Orthopedics
Endoscopy
Podiatry
Procedures may include:

General anesthesia
Lines (arterial line, central line)


Average of ~1 callback per month


Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified
Active Pennsylvania license (not willing to license)
DEA required
Completion of accredited anesthesia residency


Credentialing

Approx. 120 days


Location
Near the Western Pennsylvania–Ohio border — community hospital environment with a 7‑on/7‑off schedule, mix of daytime cases, and both weekday and weekend call.
