New Opportunity in Central Pennsylvania with Aya Locums: Anesthesiologist

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for an ongoing night coverage opportunity in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working nights and managing a broad range of surgical cases across multiple specialties.

Position Highlights
-Schedule: 4 x 16-hour night shifts weekly
-Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-Coverage Needed: 1–4 weeks per month
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital Size: 135 beds

Required Skills & Experience
-MUST be comfortable working nights
-MUST be proficient in regional block (nerve block) anesthesia for a high-volume orthopedic patient population
-MUST be able to provide OB anesthesia coverage
-Experience with: MAC anesthesia. Regional anesthesia, Spinal anesthesia, Ultrasound-guided techniques
-Case Mix Includes: Vascular, OB/GYN, General Surgery, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology, Department Overview
-Anesthesiologists supervise a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio
-Patient population includes all ages

Requirements
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
-Active PA license - willing to license
-ACLS and PALS certifications required
-2+ years of experience preferred

Credentialing
-Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
