Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Start: June/July
Assignment Length: 26 weeks

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a hospital-based assignment in Woonsocket, RI. This role offers a balanced schedule with a mix of clinical coverage and call responsibilities.

Schedule

* Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nightly backup call)
* Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
* Call response time: 30 minutes

---

Practice Details

* Setting: Hospital
* EMR: Epic
* Care model: MD and CRNA team
* 4 ORs and 1 CV room
* 4 providers during the day

---

Case Mix

* General surgery
* Endoscopy
* OB (~450 deliveries/year)
* Orthopedics (including some spine)
* Urology
* Gynecology
* Podiatry
* Cardiac (~380 cases/year including cath lab and TEE)

---

Requirements

* Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist
* Active, unrestricted license required
* ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
* Proficiency in epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks (case logs required)

Credentialing

* 45–90 days
* Temporary privileges available for clean background and malpractice history
