Anesthesiologist needed in Austin with 8- or 10-hour shifts

I have an Anesthesiologist locums need in Austin starting this fall with 8- or 10-hour day shifts and an ongoing need through 2027. This is a general anesthesia position where you'll supervise CRNAs in a 1:4 model while also having the opportunity to perform your own cases.

✔ Locations: Coverage across four Austin-area hospitals
✔ Assignment Length: Ongoing through December 2027
✔ Credentialing: Approximately 60 days

What your week actually looks like

You'll primarily work 8- or 10-hour daytime shifts within a large Austin anesthesia practice, supervising CRNAs at approximately 1:4 while still stepping into your own cases when appropriate. The clinical mix includes General, Neuro, Ortho, and OB, and the group prefers physicians willing to help with pager call when needed. You'll need some geographic flexibility as well, since locums physicians must be willing to cover all four hospitals within the Austin network.
