An academic medical center in Vermont is seeking a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist for a six-month assignment beginning October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist interested in a longer-term locums assignment within an academic setting.
Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 6 months
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Scheduled Hours: Approximately 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Expected Hours: May increase up to approximately 48 hours per week with weekend and call coverage
• Call: Required as needed
• Weekends: Required as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Provider will be required to work 2 of 4 winter holidays
The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing consistent coverage in a busy academic medical center and maintaining flexibility for weekend and call needs throughout the assignment.
