Anesthesiologist Needed in Fredericksburg, VA

Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Fredericksburg, VA (Float Pool: Mary Washington Healthcare)
Duration: 26 weeks (Ongoing)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
50 hours/week (40 guaranteed, flex up to 50)
Weekend availability a plus
Will consider 2–3 weeks/month or weekend/night-only coverage

On-Call Requirements: No call (scheduled shifts only; night/weekend gaps may allow flexibility)
Board Certification Required: Yes – Anesthesiology
Setting: Float Pool (Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center)
Patient Population: Adults and healthy pediatrics
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: CRNAs (Medical Direction model, 1:3 ratio), Surgical Team
Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
Procedures Include:
General Anesthesia
OB, Ortho, Thoracic, Endoscopy, Trauma
Open hearts, organ harvest (no transplants)
Blocks (preferred but not required)
Must be willing to do solo cases if requested
