Position Overview
A facility in historic Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for a 12-week locum tenens assignment. Providers will work in a collegial environment handling their own cases across a focused case mix.
Case Types: General, Pediatrics, Endoscopy, Cataracts
Anesthesia Rooms: 2
Practice Model: MDs doing their own cases (no CRNA supervision)
Charting System: Epic
Schedule & Call
Shift Type: 8-hour shifts
Regular Hours: Preferred schedule
In-House Call: Required
Weeknight Call (Pager): Required
Weekend Call (Pager): Required
Overtime: Not expected
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Required)
Completion of approved Anesthesia Residency
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
Active Virginia license or willingness to obtain (licensing assistance available)
Credentialing
Estimated Privileging Timeframe: 90 days
