Assignment Details

Location: Suffolk, VA
Coverage: Summer dates only
Schedule: Primarily 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with optional/light call

Coverage Dates

June 8–12
June 29 – July 3
August 10–14 (call preferred) + weekend call August 15–16
August 17–21
August 31 – September 4
September 7–11
September 21–25
September 28 – October 2

Practice Details

Case Types: General, Orthopedic, Urology (regional proficiency required)
Setting: 4 anesthesia rooms
MDs perform own cases (no supervision model)
EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified
Active VA license required (not willing to license)
Privileging timeframe: ~90 days

Additional Highlights

Relaxed, low-acuity environment
Light beeper call (minimal call-ins; rare after 7 PM)
No ICU and no high-acuity/emergency cases
