Job description

A high-demand, short-duration assignment is available for an experienced Anesthesiologist seeking a structured weekday schedule in a well-supported hospital environment. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys a focused, predictable block of work with a strong case mix and collaborative team structure.

Schedule & Commitment
Weekday-only coverage (Monday–Friday)
8-hour day shifts
No call responsibilities during this assignment

Clinical Environment
Broad anesthesia practice with exposure to:
General surgery
Orthopedics
Endoscopy
Neuro/spine (limited)
Pediatric cases if comfortable
Bread-and-butter anesthesia focus in a high-volume surgical setting
Opportunity to work across a large OR environment with established workflows

Practice Setting
Full-service hospital environment with a wide range of surgical specialties
Collaborative anesthesia model with both MDs and CRNAs
Supervision structure in place with a strong perioperative support team
EMR system in place for streamlined documentation

Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active Virginia license required
ACLS and BLS certification required
DEA registration required
Minimum clinical experience preferred (2+ years)
Comfortable with a mix of adult and select pediatric cases

Flexible with case variety, including occasional neuro or pediatric exposure
