**Norfolk, VA | Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) | PRN Coverage | August–December 2026**

**Available Shift Types:**

* 8-hour day shifts
* 10-hour day shifts
* 12-hour day shifts
* 12-hour day/night call
* Weekend day and night call
* 24-hour coverage available on select dates

**Available Dates**

**August**

* 1, 3–5, 10, 12–24, 31

**September**

* 2–4, 8–9, 18, 20–28

**October**

* 1–5, 8–16, 19, 26, 30–31

**November**

* 1–6, 8, 11, 13, 20, 22–30

**December**

* 1, 3–4, 14, 18–31

Practice Details:

* Hospital-based practice
* Epic EMR
* Adult and OB anesthesia
* General Surgery
* Spine Neurosurgery
* Complex Orthopedic
* Complex Vascular (non-open heart)
* Cardiac Cath Lab
* No open-heart or cardiac anesthesia required
* Pediatric experience preferred, not required

Required Skills:

* General anesthesia
* Regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia
* Ventilator management
* Central line placement
* Arterial line placement

Requirements:

* Board-Certified Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)
* Active Virginia medical license
* Virginia DEA
* Comfortable with adult and OB anesthesia
* Must be willing to take weeknight and/or weekend call
* Call rotation: **1:10**
