Anesthesiologist Needed in Virginia - Licensing Opportunity

Anesthesiologist opportunity available in MD
Start Date: Dec 14th, 2026
Assignment Length: 6 months with possible extension
Schedule: 8’s and 10’s , starting at 7am. No call
Additional Details:
-Support staff: Admin team, CRNA’s, and other Anes MD’s (The anesthesiologists will supervise CRNA’s, Locums will not be supervising residents).
-Skills required: Management of complex or difficult airways (use of fiber-optic equipment), Proficiency with difficult IV access (A-Line, Central Line), Ability to work and lead in a fast-paced team model work environment, Ability to ambulate and navigate long distances with operative environment
- Case mix - General, Surgery, Vascular, Ortho, OB, Neuro, Endo, Dental, some transplant (No peds or ICU needed)
· Department description: Level 1 trauma with a burn center

Licensure: Active VA license NOT required (assistance available if needed)
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60-90 days
