The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with strong provider support and a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage needed for December 28, 2026 through January 3, 2027
- Only submit providers who can cover the specific dates listed below:
- Monday 12/28: 0700-1500
- Tuesday 12/29: 0700-1500 + on call 1500-0700
- Wednesday 12/30: 0700-1500
- Thursday 12/31: 0700-1500 + on call 1500-0700
- Friday 1/1: 24-hour holiday on call
- Saturday 1/2: 24-hour on call
- Sunday 1/3: 24-hour on call
- Coverage includes weekday clinical work shifts (typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), weekday night call, and weekend 24-hour call coverage
- Board certification required; minimum certification level is Certified
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
- Nearest airport is CWA (Central Wisconsin Airport)
- Lodging available at the Cobblestone in Stevens Point
- Preferred anesthesiology skills include:
- General anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients
- Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Obstetrical and neurosurgical cases including head and spine
- Open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases
- Pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks
- Epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
- Transforaminal injections (lumbar and cervical)
- Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
- Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues
- Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement
- CRNA supervision
- Act 10 is acceptable; no specific license requirement to bid
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
