Anesthesiologist Locums – Eau Claire, WI | 1–2 Weeks/Month | No Call | Travel Covered

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This position offers flexible scheduling of 1–2 weeks per month, 8 or 10-hour shifts, no call or weekends, and travel and lodging coverage at an established Level II Trauma Center.

SCHEDULE

- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Contract Length: Initial 3 months with ongoing opportunities
- Monday–Friday coverage
- 1–2 weeks per month
- 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No call
- No weekends

PRACTICE SETTING

- Hospital / Community Practice
- Level II Trauma Center
- Busy community anesthesia practice
- Approximately 6–12 patients per day
- Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Anesthesia care team model
- Medical direction of CRNAs required
- CRNA and Anesthesia Technician support
- EPIC EMR

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide anesthesia services across a broad patient population
- Medically direct CRNAs
- Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff
- Manage anesthesia care in a busy community hospital environment
- Maintain effective communication with the anesthesia care team
- Provide safe and effective perioperative anesthesia management

REQUIREMENTS

- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active Wisconsin medical license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- EPIC experience required
- Must be comfortable medically directing CRNAs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
