$130/Hour Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP)-Cardiology in Oregon

Job description

We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month locum assignment with potential extension. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care with strong team support and a collaborative environment.

📅 Schedule
• Full-time – 80 hours per pay period
• 4×10-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly rotation between clinic and hospital coverage

🏥 Practice Details
• 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient coverage
• Clinic volume: 15–18 patients per day
• Hospital rounding: 8–15 patients per day
• Work alongside multiple cardiologists
• Dedicated Medical Assistant support
• Triage RN team available
• Device clinic with specialized staff
• Exposure to general, invasive, and electrophysiology cardiology
• EMR: EPIC

💼 Assignment Terms
• 4 hours unpaid EPIC training required
• Work week runs Sunday–Saturday
• Malpractice coverage must be included in rates
• Extension opportunity available

Requirements
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1 year cardiology NP experience
• Active Oregon license or willingness to obtain
• NPDB Self-Query within 30 days of submission
• DEA required (verbal confirmation at submission)
