Locum Tenens – Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology 📍 Coos Bay, Oregon

A reputable community hospital on the Oregon Coast is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month locum assignment with potential extension.

Position Overview
50% Inpatient / 50% Outpatient
Hospital-based & Clinic setting
Full-time: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
No weekends
No call
NPs rotate weekly between hospital and clinic (one week inpatient, one week clinic).

Clinical Details
15–18 clinic patients per day
8–15 hospital patients per day
4 Cardiologists on staff
Dedicated MA support
Triage RN team
Device clinic with dedicated staff
Support in general cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology
EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level III facility

Requirements
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Oregon license (or willing to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of Cardiology NP experience
DEA required
Clean background preferred
NPDB self-query required at presentation

Assignment Details
3-month contract with possible extension
4 hours unpaid EPIC training required
OT paid after 40 hours (1.25x)
Malpractice coverage must be included in rate
