Cath Lab PA Opportunity – New York | No Weekends + Travel Covered

Job description

Opportunity Details: Cath Lab Physician Assistant (New York)

Start: ASAP (6–8 week credentialing)
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–8p
Typically 4 shifts per week (12–14 hour shifts)

Work Details:

First assist in cardiac catheterization procedures
Provide procedural support in Cath Lab
Assist with pre-procedure and recovery care
Perform patient assessments and support clinical decision-making
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and Cath Lab staff
Lab volume: 15–20 cases per day
Providers handle ~6–10 cases per shift
Two providers staffed daily

Call Details:

Weekend/holiday call available (preferred, not required)
30-minute STEMI response time
Cases typically last 1–2 hours

Requirements:

Graduate of accredited PA program
Active New York license required
No DEA required
Cath Lab or cardiology experience preferred
