PA - Electrophysiology - Locum Tenens - Morgantown, WV Area

Job description

A regional health system in the Morgantown, WV area is seeking a Physician Assistant for an Electrophysiology locum tenens opportunity covering maternity leave.

Position Details:
- Specialty: Electrophysiology APP
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm (full-time)
- Start Date: July 27th
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Practice Setting: Hospital (Level IV Trauma Center, 189-bed)
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Volume: approximately 20 consults per day, 6 outpatient procedures per day
- Patient Population: All ages
- Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with consults, consents, MRI device programming, and tilt table tests
- Support staff: 3 ER physicians

Requirements:
- Board Certification required
- State License required (willing to license)
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required

Travel Package:
- Full travel paid: hotel cap $180/night, rental car cap $65/day, flight cap $800
- Nearest airport: Morgantown Municipal Airport (MGW)
- Overtime: 1.2x normal rate after 10 hours per day
- Holiday rate: 1.2x normal rate

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
