PA Cardiac Electrophysiology – Locum Tenens – Morgantown, WV

Job description

A Level IV trauma hospital in the Morgantown, WV area is seeking a Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm. Start date approximately July 27, with a 3-month contract length (maternity leave coverage).

Work Details: Approximately 20 consults per day plus 6 outpatient procedures per day. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with consults, consents, MRI device programming, and tilt table tests. Hospital bed size: 189. EMR: Cerner. Patient population spans all ages.

Requirements: Board certification and active state license required. DEA required. BLS and ACLS required. Licensing is supported by the facility. Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days.
