Electrophysiologist – Locum Tenens

Job description

An established academic hospital in KY is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Electrophysiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This role offers flexible scheduling with the option for clinic-only or a combination of clinic and procedural block days.

Assignment Details

Shift Details: 5x8 clinic schedule (8a–5p), may extend due to patient volume

Coverage: Minimum 1 week per month preferred, additional blocks available

Weekend Call: None anticipated

Procedures: Optional 1-day procedure block (ablations, pacemakers, and other standard EP procedures)

Clinic Volume: 16–20 patients per half day (depending on APP support)

Support Staff: 3 staff physicians, experienced APPs, full clinical team

Requirements

Board Certification: BE/BC in Cardiology with Fellowship in Electrophysiology

License: Active KY license preferred (will consider candidates open to licensing)

DEA: Required (KY)

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Electrophysiology
