The facility features a Level 1 trauma center, two EP labs, an OR hybrid suite, and a dedicated clinic environment, providing a comprehensive and well-supported setting for electrophysiology practice.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Job Details:
• Locum Tenens assignment beginning September 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis; initial commitment of at least 6 months required
• Must be able to complete two Monday through Friday stretches per month starting in September
• Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an unpaid 30-minute lunch; overtime is incredibly rare and there is no call or holiday coverage required
• Approximate case mix of 60-70% clinic and 30-40% procedural work
• Patient encounters include 12 patients on clinic days and 3-4 patients on lab days
• Procedures include AFib ablations and other EP procedures; no VT, PVC ablations, or extractions
• Department features 2-4 exam rooms in clinic, two EP labs, and an OR hybrid suite
• At least 2 years of post-fellowship EP experience required
• Active and current Epic experience required within the last 12 months
• Must be licensed in Minnesota or hold an IMLC license
• Board certification required; estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
• Nearest airport is Duluth; Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) is approximately a 2-hour drive with additional travel options available
