Electrophysiology Cardiologist – 3-Month Block with 2–4 EP Lab Days/Week (Ohio)

Job description

A regional heart and vascular program in northeast Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified EP Cardiologist for locum coverage from January 23 – April 24, 2026. This is an excellent fit for an EP who enjoys a balanced mix of high-acuity procedures, clinic, and inpatient consults in a Level II trauma environment, with a defined block that still protects work–life balance.

Assignment Details
• Location: Mid-sized city in northeast Ohio
• Dates: 1/23/26 – 4/24/26 (approximately 6 weeks of coverage within this block)
• Schedule:
o Monday–Friday, 7:00a–4:00p
o Weeknight call
o 24-hour weekend call
• Setting: Acute-care hospital with integrated outpatient clinic and EP lab
• Coverage: Outpatient clinic, EP lab procedures, and hospital rounding

Clinical Scope
• EP studies and comprehensive arrhythmia workups
• Catheter ablation (atrial and ventricular)
• Cardioversion
• Pacemaker and ICD implantation and management
• Syncope evaluations
• Remote monitoring and device clinic responsibilities
• Genetic testing support for inherited arrhythmias

The EP will typically spend 2–4 days per week in the lab, with remaining time devoted to clinic and inpatient consults.
