𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Tenens Physician – 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
A hospital-based health system in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology physician for locum tenens coverage starting July 1, 2026. This role includes inpatient coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities, supporting a large cardiology service line at a Level I Trauma Center.

The physician will manage adult and geriatric patients, perform a full range of electrophysiology procedures, and work collaboratively with an established cardiology team. Coverage is needed due to a change in FTE, with ongoing support from other cardiologists on site.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 & 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥:
- 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭: 8 hours
- 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥: 24-hour on-call coverage
- 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨: 1:4

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Inpatient electrophysiology coverage
- Full scope of EP procedures
- Electrical cardioversions
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Tilt table testing
- Supervision of 1 APP

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞:
- Average 20 clinic patients/day
- Average 11 inpatient admissions/day

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:
- Hospital-based inpatient and call coverage
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Team of approximately 20 cardiologist physicians

𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
- Level I Trauma Center
~400 total beds
~50 ICU beds

𝐄𝐌𝐑:
- Epic

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certified in Electrophysiology – REQUIRED
- BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
- NPDB self-query within 30 days – REQUIRED
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED

• 24-hour call coverage (1:4)
