Cardiac Electrophysiology Locums - Northeast Ohio | EP Lab, Clinic & Inpatient Consults | Epic

Job description

Start: October 12, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Outpatient clinic 2 days/week, EP lab procedures 2-4 days/week, plus inpatient consults and EKG interpretation
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00; clinic Mon & Tues, procedures Wed-Fri
Call: Weeknight call plus 24-hour weekend call rotation (details finalized during interview)
Volume: 14 clinic patients per day, 2 days/week; inpatient volume varies with consults
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital (Level II trauma) - inpatient and outpatient
Support: 1 APP for inpatient coverage; 2 EP labs; one on-staff EP provider
Procedures: EP studies, catheter ablation, cardioversion, implantable cardiac devices, syncope evaluations, remote device monitoring, genetic testing
Mapping System: Abbott EnSite

Outpatient EP clinic evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up
Full scope of EP lab procedures 2-4 days per week
Inpatient consult service with APP support
Daily EKG interpretation
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
Ohio license, DEA, and Ohio CSR required (IMLC accepted with a clean background)
ACLS and BLS required
Epic experience preferred
Local and regional providers preferred

8:00-17:00, Monday-Friday
Clinic 2 days/week | Procedures 3 days/week
Call rotation: weeknights + 24-hour weekend call
