Electrophysiologist Needed in Springfield, OR | Clinic + Weekend EP Call | 2 Weeks/Month

Job description

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) cardiac electrophysiology opportunity spanning clinic and hospital at a heart and vascular institute in Springfield, Oregon, structured as two weeks of coverage per month over a six-month assignment with a potential three-month extension. The target start is January 2027, possibly sooner. The schedule is 8-hour shifts across three to four clinic days, followed by adjacent weekend call one to two times per month.

Weekend EP call runs Saturday and Sunday, with 7:00a-5:00p rounding and inpatient pacemaker implantation (roughly 5 hours per day), followed by telephone call 5:00p-7:00a; interventional and general cardiology are also on call over the weekends. The physician sees a geriatric and 50-plus population at roughly 3-4 patients per day, at a 388-bed facility with both inpatient and outpatient settings. Required procedures include inpatient pacemaker implantation and DCCV cardioversion. There may be an opportunity to add EP lab days for the right candidate, and documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology, with an active Oregon license, at least two years of experience, BLS and ACLS, and documented recent EP case logs.
