Schedule

Monday–Friday: Approximately 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible based on service needs)

Weekend Call: Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM

Some general cardiology coverage required during call

Practice Setting

Predominantly inpatient

Adult patients (18+)

Inpatient census: ~15 patients

2–3 device implants per day

Support Staff

1 dedicated Electrophysiology APP

Procedures & Equipment

Implantable cardiac devices

Ablation therapies

Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs)

Cardioversions with moderate sedation

CARTO mapping system

Abbott mapping system

Opal HDx mapping system

EMR

Epic

Requirements

Board Certified in Electrophysiology

Active Tennessee license (IMLC accepted)

BLS & ACLS required

DEA required (exemption form available if non-prescribing)

Minimum 2 years’ experience

Clean file and recent background check required

Vaccination Requirements

MMR: 2 documented doses or positive numeric titers

Varicella: 2 documented doses or positive numeric titers

Flu (seasonal)

TB screening within past year (additional activation testing may apply depending on test type)
