Assignment Details
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts plus call

Schedule

Weekday Coverage: Monday – Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on inpatient needs)
Call Coverage: 1 weekend per month
Weekend call runs Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Coverage Need: Approximately 1 week per month plus 1 weekend of call

Practice Setting
Inpatient hospital setting

Clinical Details
Patient Volume:

Inpatient service: Approximately 15 patients per day
Procedural volume: 2–3 device implants per day

Patient Population: Adult patients (18+)

Support Staff:

1 Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider for hospital-based support

Department Focus: Electrophysiology with some general cardiology coverage

EMR System: Not specified

Procedures and Scope

Implantable cardiac devices
Ablation therapies
Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs)
Cardioversions with moderate sedation

Equipment:

CARTO mapping system
Abbott mapping system
Opal HDx mapping system

Requirements
Board Certification: Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
Licensure: Active Tennessee license required (IMLC accepted)
DEA: Required (or exemption if non-prescribing)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Additional Requirements: Clean background required

Credentialing
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
