Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist Needed in Bellingham, WA | General Cardiology + EP | Full-Spectrum EP | Licensure Flexible
Job description
Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed — listed start November 2, 2026)
Length: 36 weeks / 9 months (open to extension)
Coverage: General Cardiology (.25 FTE) and Electrophysiology (.5 FTE)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 07:00–17:00, for one week per month of General Cardiology. EP coverage across both hospital and clinic settings. Day, night, and weekend coverage.
Call: Anticipate 2 weeknight calls during a one-week stretch, plus potential 24-hour weekend call as needed. Call includes 4 hours gratis.
Volume: Approximately 8–10 general cardiology patients per day
Patient Population: Adults
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital, 247 beds — EP requires both hospital and clinic privileges; general cardiology is hospital only
Support: APC support Monday–Saturday
Rounding and admissions
Full-spectrum electrophysiology — from pacemakers to ablations
General cardiology procedures including cardioversions and TEEs (approximately 2–4 TEEs per shift)
Timely documentation in Epic
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology and Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Minimum 1 year of experience
EP case logs — documentation of 100 EP cases within the previous 24 months
Washington license required — IMLC accepted; open to licensure depending on start date
ACLS and BLS required
Epic charting required
