LOCUM CARDIOLOGIST – GENERAL & ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY

We are seeking experienced Cardiology Physicians (MD/DO) to provide locum coverage for both
General Cardiology and Electrophysiology (EP) needs.

POSITION DETAILS

✓ General Cardiology: Approximately 0.25 FTE

✓ Electrophysiology: Approximately 0.5 FTE

✓ Assignment Duration: 9 months

✓ Coverage needed due to gaps in physician coverage

✓ 247-bed facility

✓ Adult patient population

✓ EMR: Epic

GENERAL CARDIOLOGY

✓ Hospital-based coverage

✓ Hospital privileges required

✓ Responsibilities include rounding and admissions

✓ Required procedures include cardioversions and TEEs

✓ Approximately 2–4 TEEs per shift

ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY

✓ Coverage includes both hospital and clinic settings

✓ Hospital and clinic privileges required

✓ Full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures required, including:

✓ Pacemakers

✓ Ablations

✓ Other complex EP procedures

✓ Applicants must provide documentation of 100 electrophysiology cases performed within the previous 24 months representative of the requested privileges.

REQUIREMENTS

✓ MD or DO

✓ Active Washington license preferred

✓ IMLC candidates accepted

✓ Candidates willing to obtain licensure may be considered depending on the start date

✓ Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

✓ Recent cardiovascular clinical activity within the previous 24 months must be documented through applicable case logs

✓ EP candidates must provide required EP case logs

SUPPORT

✓ APC support available at times, including Monday through Saturday

✓ Travel accommodations available within established guidelines
