ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY CARDIOLOGIST – LOCUM TENENS

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. The provider will support EP services, outpatient clinic visits, inpatient consultations, and weekend general cardiology call as needed.

POSITION DETAILS

✓ Provider Type: Physician – Electrophysiology Cardiology

✓ FTE: 1.0

✓ Start: ASAP, upon completion of credentialing

✓ Assignment: Full-time coverage

✓ Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days

✓ EMR: Epic

✓ Setting: Outpatient clinic with some inpatient responsibilities and weekend call

SCHEDULE

✓ Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

✓ Some weekend call coverage required

✓ Weekend 24-hour call will include General Cardiology Call

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

✓ Provide comprehensive electrophysiology services

✓ Perform EP procedures

✓ See new patient consultations

✓ Manage follow-up visits

✓ Evaluate transfer-of-care patients

✓ Provide inpatient cardiology support as needed

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

✓ Atrial fibrillation (AFib) ablations

✓ High- and low-voltage device implants

✓ SVT ablations

✓ Other standard electrophysiology procedures

SUPPORT STAFF

✓ Medical Assistants

✓ Advanced Practice Providers

✓ Device RNs

QUALIFICATIONS

✓ Electrophysiology fellowship – REQUIRED

✓ Board Eligible – REQUIRED

✓ Board Certified – Highly Preferred

✓ Washington medical license – Highly Preferred

✓ IMLC may be considered with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) uploaded – REQUIRED

✓ ACLS – REQUIRED

✓ BLS – REQUIRED

✓ DEA – REQUIRED during credentialing

✓ Clean malpractice history – Highly Preferred

✓ Travel and lodging support available

✓ Preferred lodging options available

✓ Local air travel preferred; flights may be considered

✓ Provider's travel city must be included with submission

✓ Any anticipated travel exceptions or special lodging requirements must be disclosed at the time of presentation

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

✓ Coverage is needed to support a vacant position

✓ Candidates must be available for the required full-time schedule and call responsibilities

✓ First day will be reserved for orientation and credentialing-related activities
