📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: September 14, 2026
🔹 Contract Length: 13 weeks
🔹 Schedule: Scheduled coverage with no call
🔹 Flexible 12-hour day and night shifts
🔹 Ongoing need for approximately 3 shifts per week
🔹 Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
🔹 Maryland license required (licensing assistance available; compact licensure candidates accepted)
🔹 Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope
🔹 Acute care community hospital
🔹Level II Trauma designation
🔹 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric patients
🔹 Typical cardiac census of 4–7 patients
🔹 Cerner EMR
🔹 Manage pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients
🔹 Experience with ventilator management and fresh post-operative cardiac surgery patients required
🔹 Perform central line placement
🔹 Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, OR APPs, and SICU providers
🔹 Care for CABG, aortic valve replacement (AVR), and occasional Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, and ECMO patients
🔹 No OR responsibilities or vein harvesting required

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
🔹 Active Maryland license required (licensing assistance available; compact licensure candidates accepted)
🔹 ACLS certification required
🔹 DEA required
🔹 Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Critical Care experience
🔹 Proficiency with central line placement
🔹 Experience managing post-operative cardiac surgery patients and mechanical ventilation
🔹 Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted)
🔹 COVID-19 vaccination not required
