Assignment Details
Start: July/August
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Newton, MA

Schedule
Monday–Friday
4x10s (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Practice Setting
Inpatient hospital (General Cardiology)
No dedicated cardiac unit

Team Structure
10 MDs, 4 PAs
Daily coverage includes 2–3 PAs with 1 attending physician

Work Details
EMR: Epic
Average Daily Census: 5–6 patients
Patient Population: Adult
Responsibilities:
New consults and follow-ups
Mix of direct patient care and care coordination
No procedures required
Supporting hospitalist consult service

Requirements
Board Certification: Required
State License: Massachusetts (MA)
DEA: Required
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Willing to License: No

Credentialing
Standard timeframe: 3–6 months
Currently targeting approximately 180 days (dependent on MSO volume)

Additional Notes
Coverage needed for maternity leave beginning August 1
