Cardiology NP/PA Needed in Chicago, IL

Inpatient
Contract Length: 3 months
Shift Details: 4x10 preferred but can accept 3x12
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8p-6a for 10 hour shifts, or 6p-6a for 12 hour shifts
Work Details:
• Support staff: full support; RNs, techs, admin, heart failure physicians
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
• Patients per day: on average 15ppd
• Patient population/age: adult/geri
• Department description: Heart Failure inpatient services
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 824 beds
• Special procedures: NA
• Skills required: transplant (not just heart, any type of transplant) or immunosuppression experience, cardiac background is preferred. This is only floor, no ICU, primarily post transplants, lots of re-admits with heart issue, high dose inotropes, patients that are waiting for transplants, etc.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Must be certified APP or PA. Will accept adult, acute care, cardiac, etc if they have relatable experience with transplant patients or immunosuppression.
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days; COO will push to grant temps in 30 days but need clean files.
