Job description

Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner locum opportunity available in Silver Spring, MD. This is a 4–6 month assignment with a consistent 4-day-per-week schedule.

Schedule:
• 4 shifts per week (10-hour days)
• Includes weekends and holidays
• Weekend shifts typically 6–8 hours depending on census
• No call
• Start: May 2026

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital (180 beds)
• Adult cardiovascular population
• 2–10 patients per day
• Responsibilities include post-procedure care, consult workups, and follow-up calls
• EMR: Cerner & Change Healthcare cardiology PACS

Requirements:
• Board Certified
• Active MD license (licensing not available)
• DEA & CSR required
• BLS & ACLS required
• 1–2 years cardiology experience preferred

Credentialing: 60–90 days
