Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Inpatient Locum Tenens Opportunity

Location: Silver Spring, MD
Contract Length: 4–6 Months
Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call

Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Weekend shifts: typically 6–8 hours depending on census
- Includes weekends and holidays

Work Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient – Cardiovascular Department
- Adult patient population
- Patient volume: 2–10 per day
- EMR: Cerner & Change Healthcare Cardiology PACS
- Manage patients pre- and post-procedure
- Conduct consult workups prior to procedures
- Perform follow-up care, including patient phone calls
- Collaborate closely with cardiology team and hospital staff

Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Active State License required
- DEA & CSR required
- Certifications: BLS & ACLS required
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant cardiovascular or inpatient experience
