Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA-C proficient in the OR as a first assist and vein harvesting
• Assist in OR for cardiothoracic cases including vein harvesting - ability to vein harvest is a strict requirement
• Required to cover night call, including phone calls and emergent OR cases
• Schedule coverage dates include:
  - July 20 - July 26 (7a - 7a)
  - August 7 - August 9 (7a - 7a)
  - August 12 - August 16 (7a - 7a)
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• EMR: EPIC experience highly preferred
• Active Nebraska license required or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
• Board Certification required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days; facility will work toward emergency privileges
• Completed credentialing application must be returned to facility within 48 hours of receipt
• Availability confirmation required at time of name clear
• Coverage reason: PA-C out on leave
• Local providers preferred; no flights anticipated
• Preferred hotel lodging available
