Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Locum-to-Perm opportunity specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery starting ASAP for an initial 6-month period
• Coverage needed due to short-staffing with a minimum commitment of 2 weeks on/off rotation
• 100% adult patient population
• Inpatient responsibilities account for 75% of the role; outpatient responsibilities account for 25%
• Weekend rounds required with 5-10 patients seen per rounding session
• On-call coverage required for nights and weekends
• EMR system: EPIC with training provided
• Hospital privileges required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90-120 days
• Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• Active Virginia state license required
• Active DEA required
