Cardiology MD needed for inpatient and outpatient coverage with scheduled hours plus call. Supplemental coverage need with strong procedural volume, 15‑day credentialing, Trauma Level III environment, and strict CHS rate/holiday/OT rules. Active AK license required.

Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Hours: 7a–5p (within 8‑hour regular shift window)

Hospital is Stroke Certified
Admissions REQUIRED
Rounding: Both inpatient & outpatient
No temporary privileges available
EMR: Cerner + Athena
Support staff available


Airport: Anchorage, AK
All travel rules apply:
Car rental cap: $45/day
Airfare cap: $800 roundtrip
Lodging:
Anchorage: $220/night
All other CHS locations: $200/night

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified (minimum Board Eligible accepted)
Fellowship REQUIRED (Cardiology per requisition)
Active Alaska license only (facility will NOT accept pending/willing)
DEA
Certifications:

ACLS
BLS


ATLS & PALS: Not required
Estimated credentialing: 15 days
