This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the southeastern Idaho region with comprehensive cardiac services. The facility features a 20-bed department with Level 2 trauma capabilities and provides strong support through hospitalist services and advanced practice providers to ensure optimal patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:
• Provide inpatient cardiology consulting services with 13-18 patient encounters per shift
• Work regular clinic hours for 10-hour clinical shifts with on-site presence
• Collaborate with hospitalist team who handle most admissions
• Work alongside scheduled advanced practice provider for day-to-day support
• Carry pager for night call and respond to in-person callbacks as needed
• Manage ICU cardiology patients and perform echocardiography
• Board certification required with 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Must maintain Idaho medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, and BLS
• TEE, nuclear cardiology, and permanent pacemaker placement preferred
• ICD/AICD placement capabilities preferred
• Outpatient cardiology experience preferred but not required

Compensation:
