The facility features an established cardiology program and regional market with recently upgraded technology including a new GE Allia IGS system for the renovated cath lab and a 256-Slice CT Scanner with CTA capabilities. As a member of the UK Healthcare Gill Affiliate Network, the facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular services with strong support staff and advanced resources.

Opportunity:
General Cardiologist

Job Details:
• Support team of 2 interventional cardiologists and 3 ARPNs in established cardiology program
• Provide general adult cardiology services including peripheral vascular disease management
• Manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, and congestive heart failure
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions
• Conduct diagnostic peripheral/carotid/mesenteric angiograms and peripheral arterial interventions
• Perform echocardiography, pericardialcentesis, and myocardial biopsies
• Install permanent pacemakers, loop recorder implants, and AICD implants
• Interpret Holter and event monitors
• Utilize newly installed GE Allia IGS system in renovated cath lab (July 2024)
• Access to new 256-Slice CT Scanner with CTA capabilities (April 2024)
• Work with new Echo PACS system for streamlined diagnostics and remote reading capabilities
• Collaborate within UK Healthcare Gill Affiliate Network
• Practice in a positive, collaborative work environment with access to advanced staff, resources, and technologies
