Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular

Job Details:
• Provide cardiovascular surgery services from June 26th at 5:00 p.m. until July 13th at 7:00 a.m.
• Handle approximately 4 patient encounters per shift
• Must be board certified with active Massachusetts medical license
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Level 4 trauma facility experience preferred
• General surgery skills preferred across adult, pediatric, and neonate populations
• Laparoscopic surgery experience preferred including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Head/neck surgery and thyroid procedures preferred
• Chest wall/pleural procedures and breast surgery experience preferred
• OB/GYN surgical skills including cesarean sections, D&C, and hysterectomy preferred
• GI endoscopy capabilities including upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy preferred
• Vascular surgery experience including aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, and vascular access devices preferred
• Critical care skills including ventilation management, chest tube insertion, and central line placement preferred
• Pediatric surgery specialties including artesias, abdominal wall defects, and diaphragmatic hernia repair preferred
• Plastic surgery and hand surgery experience preferred

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
