Facility:
This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center serving the Twin Cities metro area and drawing referrals from Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas. The smaller, independent organization offers a high level of provider autonomy with state-of-the-art cardiac facilities including 4 Cath Labs, comprehensive cardiac surgery program, and full spectrum cardiac imaging modalities.

Job Details:
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (0.8 FTE) employment available
• Provide outpatient non-invasive cardiology services at Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, and outreach sites
• Participate in inpatient cardiology rounding service
• Join Non-Invasive Cardiology call rotation (Q7) - Weeknight call 5:00 pm-8:00 am, Weekend call 24 hours
• Read rest/stress echoes and nuclear studies; perform TEEs and cardioversions
• Treat patients with cardiovascular disorders and diseases in both clinic and hospital settings
• Work with healthcare management team to provide continuity of care
• Average 12-14 clinic patients per day and 5-10 consults per day
• Join an established collaborative and collegial Cardiology Team of 17 cardiologists
• Supervise APPs supporting rounding and stress tests/cardiac rehab
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Health Record system
• Required procedures: Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrical Cardioversions, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Treadmill Stress Tests, Chemical Stress Tests
• CT training highly preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain Minnesota license and maintain ACLS certification
• Provider must be willing to travel to all practice locations
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
