Facility:
This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare provider for the Las Cruces community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 22-bed department with dedicated support staff including DNPs and CMAs, utilizing modern technology including Clinview/HMS EMR systems to ensure quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:
• Provide ongoing interventional cardiology coverage for vacancy position
• Clinic hours Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 7-10 patient encounters per shift
• Hospital on-call coverage for STEMI, general, and group call responsibilities
• Call schedule Monday-Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM with at least one weekend per month
• Patient population includes adults 18+ years of age
• Rounding responsibilities required
• Support staff includes clinic DNP/CMA and hospital DNP
• Must maintain active New Mexico medical license
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Fellowship training preferred (3 years)
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Lodging available at Home2 Suites or Courtyard at NMSU
• Start date June 15, 2026 with ongoing need

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
