Cardiology Coverage — Greensboro, NC Local | North Carolina Candidates Only

Job description

A major regional medical center in Greensboro is seeking a board-certified Cardiologist for a 69-week assignment beginning December 2026.

This is a strong fit for an NC-based cardiologist looking for consistent supplemental work close to home, with predictable monthly coverage and second-call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights:
• Nights and weekend coverage as second call
• Minimum of 1 week per month plus 1 weekend per month
• Shifts do not need to be consecutive
• No procedures required
• Consults upon request and E&M services only
• Read inpatient echocardiograms and nuclear studies
• Adult patient population
• EPIC EMR
• ACLS and BLS required
• NC medical license and DEA required
• Board certification in Cardiology required
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience
• 60–90 day credentialing timeframe
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Friday: 8:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Saturday: 5:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Sunday: 5:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
