Non-Invasive Cardiologist MD/DO - Inpatient Coverage in Ohio

Aya Locums is partnering with a hospital-based cardiology service seeking a Non-Invasive General Cardiologist for recurring inpatient coverage beginning in October 2026.

Coverage is currently being built around approximately two-week blocks, with several specific stretches available through the end of the year. The regular weekday schedule is primarily daytime hospital coverage, with shared night and weekend call responsibilities.

Clinical work includes inpatient General Cardiology rounding, new consults, follow-up care for hospitalized patients, echocardiogram interpretation, TEE, and cardioversion. This is a Non-Invasive Cardiology role and does not include interventional or cath lab responsibilities.

The cardiologist will have support from an APP as well as additional physician coverage during portions of the day. The exact patient census varies based on hospital consult volume.

The client will consider Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologists. An Ohio license will be needed for the assignment, and physicians using the IMLC are also being considered.
