This heart and vascular care center is a well-established cardiovascular specialty facility offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac services. The facility is fully staffed with a strong team that includes general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and advanced practice providers, along with dedicated support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage for scheduled dates in August and September
• 24-hour call shifts including STEMI call running 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Average of 5 consults per general call shift with 2-6 coronary angiograms per day across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Clinic volume of 14-16 patients per day with 30-minute appointment slots
• Patient mix consists of adults 18 years and older
• Locum provider will round on and follow their own patients until sign-off
• Work alongside a team of 3 general cardiologists, 2 interventional cardiologists, and 1 NP
• Fully staffed office with 1 MA assigned per provider in the clinic
• Anesthesia support available as needed for inpatient cases; hospitalist services handle all admissions
• Required procedures include PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, right/left heart catheterizations, STEMI coverage, IVUS/FFR/IFR, and Echo/Stress interpretation
• EMR system: Meditech with patient keeper interface
• Coverage reason: Physician vacancy
• Board certification (BC) or true board eligibility (BE) in Interventional Cardiology required
• Active Oregon medical license required; emergency credentialing available for clean malpractice record holders
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
• Fellowship/Residency in Interventional Cardiology required
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-120 days with temporary privileges available
