A healthcare facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning August 2026. This opportunity includes a mix of outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient consults, hospital call, and cardiac diagnostic procedures in a collaborative acute care setting.

The provider will rotate between clinic coverage weeks and hospital call weeks while working alongside experienced clinical staff in a well-established cardiology practice utilizing EPIC EMR.

‣ Scheduled shifts plus on-call responsibilities

‣ Support staff includes medical assistants in office
‣ Practice settings include hospital and clinic/private practice

Coverage Details:
‣ One week of hospital call coverage: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
‣ One week of outpatient clinic coverage: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
‣ Facility seeking coverage equivalent to 2 physicians or 1 full-time provider
‣ Hospital average patient volume: 20 patients per day
‣ Clinic average patient volume: 18 patients per day

Compensation:
‣ Pay Rate: $400/Hr. - Details can be discussed further after applying to the job posting.

Job Responsibilities:
‣ Provide outpatient cardiology clinic coverage
‣ Perform inpatient hospital consults
‣ Participate in hospital call coverage rotation
‣ Interpret and perform TEEs
‣ Read echocardiograms
‣ Perform and interpret nuclear cardiology testing
‣ Collaborate with clinical and support staff
‣ Accurately document patient encounters in EPIC EMR

Qualifications:
‣ Board Eligible in Cardiology required
‣ Active Pennsylvania medical license required
‣ IMLC LOQ accepted if in hand
‣ Active DEA required
‣ Comfortable with inpatient and outpatient cardiology responsibilities
‣ Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
‣ Ability to manage hospital consults and call coverage independently

Working Hours:
‣ Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
‣ Call Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
‣ Scheduled clinical shifts plus on-call coverage required
